MIAMI LAKES, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Hero K12, which is a web-based platform teachers use to emphasize and reward students for positive behavior, has partnered with Clever Secure Sync for data integration. Adding Clever integration capabilities means that schools can quickly and securely synchronize data from their SIS (student information system) to Hero K12 for rapid set up of new accounts. Clever Secure Sync is used by many educational applications for seamless and secure data transfer. This makes it much easier for schools to onboard with Hero because data is made immediately available.
“Clever makes it much simpler, and faster for school districts to immediately set up the Hero platform and feel completely confident in the secure transfer of student data,” said Jinal Jhaveri, CEO of Hero K12. “This partnership with Clever will help school leaders deploy Hero without IT burden, making their schools more positive, supportive learning environments.”
Milwaukee Public Schools used Clever Secure Sync to set up their new Hero K12 account. “Prior to the Clever Integration, staff at each of our schools needed to perform manual data SIS extracts into Hero on an intermittent basis. The data was only as accurate as the day it was updated. The Hero Clever Secure Sync integration allows us to import data automatically each day without any user effort,” said Chad Meyer, Director of the Department of Technology Office of Innovation and Information at Milwaukee Public Schools.
“We're proud to welcome Hero K12 into our ecosystem of applications working to support positive education environments of all students,” said Ben Adida, Vice President of Engineering at Clever. “With this integration, we're able to decrease implementation headaches and give admins and teachers more time to improve student learning experiences.”
