WOODSTOCK, Ontario--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Municipal leaders in Oxford County, Ontario, plan to manage and attract growth by leveraging CSDC’s powerful Amanda platform as a shared service. By doing so, they will streamline permitting, inspections and land management operations across eight municipalities to help drive efficiencies and to improve the quality of services for their citizens.

The county is currently implementing the software which will be phased-in over a number of years. The first phase of the implementation will enable county and municipal officials to use Amanda to automate the process flow of building permits and inspections. Additionally, Amanda will integrate with the GIS system that Oxford County already manages as a shared service it provides to each of the eight municipalities. In the future, CSDC and Oxford County plan to work together to use Amanda to automate processes for community planning applications, property standards and licensing.
Oxford County and its eight area municipalities (City of Woodstock, Town of Tillsonburg, Town of Ingersoll, Township of Norwich, Township of Zorra, Township of South-West Oxford, Township of Blandford-Blenheim, Township of East Zorra-Tavistock), will use the Amanda platform as their single source of truth for all permitting and land management information. To do that, the municipalities coordinated and streamlined their permitting and land management approach so that they could manage common processes and data anywhere in the county, adding an additional level of efficiency to the benefit of all citizens.
