BEIJING--(BUSINESS WIRE)--American Lending Center (ALC) - a leading EB-5 regional center and subsidiary of Regional Centers Holding Group - participated in and featured at the prestigious 2018 Beijing EB-5 Expo and 2018 Uglobal Investment Opportunities Forum on Wednesday and Thursday. The conferences focused on greater international investment and developing influential networks for business development.
ALC attended as an established innovator and industry leader, having received a record-breaking nine EB-5 project approvals in nine different cities for 30 newly approved investors in March of 2018 alone. The company is currently the largest non-bank SBA 504 lending institution, having successfully provided over 175 million dollars and EB-5 funding for 70 projects to date.
ALC’s CEO John Shen addressed representatives as a featured speaker at both the EB-5 Expo and the Investment Opportunities Forum. In his panel on Regional Centers and Project Trends, Shen concentrated on best practices and challenges in EB-5 investment, including how lending centers adjust to potential changes and carve-outs in target employment areas (TEA), varying project sizes, enhanced underwriting rules and eligibility thresholds for investors.
Bruce Thompson, president of ALC, also presented on the company’s pioneering regional centers, successful EB-5 projects, and the EB-5 loan process. “We are always honored to be invited to such forums and to showcase groundbreaking projects that represent the future of investing of our industry and the economic impact EB-5 and international investment,” said Thompson. “International conferences like these connect our industry and help us to build a foundation for the global EB-5 community,” he continued, with ALC acting as a Diamond Project Sponsor for the 2018 EB-5 Expo in particular.
