HONG KONG--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Lynk, the global knowledge sharing platform, announced the executive appointment of James Lin as Chief Technology Officer. He will lead technology innovation and product development, and be responsible for building a global, world class technology product, and data team to meet growing customer demand and support rapid business expansion.
With a Ph.D from MIT, Lin’s prior roles include CTO at Regulatory DataCorp (RDC), a risk diligence company for Anti Money Laundering (AML)/Know Your Customer (KYC), founded by 20 of the world’s leading financial institutions. He joined RDC in 2010 when it became a portfolio company of Bain Capital and Goldman Sachs, and spearheaded technology innovations to transform RDC into a leading RegTech company. His instrumental contribution helped put RDC on the map as one of Deloitte’s Technology Fast 500, for 2014, 2015, and 2016.
Prior to RDC, Lin was CIO for Forbes internet business. He built a central adtech platform for all Forbes Digital businesses, which together attracted over 40 million unique visitors monthly. Previously, he managed financial services investment information solutions, holding senior positions with Standard & Poor's, Merrill Lynch, and Clearbook Financial.

Alongside Lin, Lynk also appointed an advisor, Xin Fu, Senior Director of Data Science at LinkedIn. His current role sees him driving product innovations through creative use of data and development of analytics platforms that democratize the data. Fu will provide similar guidance to Lynk. Prior to joining LinkedIn, Fu worked at Google and Microsoft, he has also authored over 50 refereed papers and journal articles. Fu holds a Ph.D in Human-Computer Interaction from the University of North Carolina, and is currently an advisor to Didi Chuxing in China.
