National Italian Ice Day will honor and celebrate the treat Rita’s has built its brand on — Italian ice. Rita’s has been serving up its signature recipe of this sweet treat for more than 30 years and believes there is no better way to recognize Italian ice than with a day dedicated to the frozen delight.

Alongside the national holiday, Rita’s will host a “Masterscoop” contest on Facebook — a chance for guests to visit their local Rita’s and create an Italian masterpiece as iconic as the Mona Lisa herself. The winner of this year’s Masterscoop contest will have their chilled creation featured on Rita’s menu in 2019 on National Italian Ice Day.
