Goodwin Expands International Private Equity and Private Investment Funds Platform with Partner Eric Goldstein in New York

NEW YORK--()--Global 50 law firm Goodwin announced today that Eric Goldstein has joined the firm’s New York office as partner in the Private Equity and Private Investment Funds practices.

Goldstein specializes in the formation and operation of private equity, venture capital and other private investment funds, including advising on regulatory, compliance, structuring and governance matters involving private funds and sponsors. Goldstein also counsels on the organization of fund management companies and general partners.

Goldstein joins from Goodwin client Insight Venture Partners in New York City, a $20 billion private equity and venture capital firm, where he served as Deputy General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer. Prior to that, Goldstein was a member of the Asset Management Group of Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP. He is a member of the Private Investment Funds Committee of the New York City Bar Association.

Goldstein received a J.D. from New York Law School cum laude and a B.A. from the University of Florida. He is admitted to practice in New York.
