EWING, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Universal Display Corporation (Nasdaq: OLED), enabling energy-efficient displays and lighting with its UniversalPHOLED® technology and materials, today announced that it was awarded the Citation of Merit Certificate for achievement in the prevention of occupational injuries during calendar year 2017, as part of the 90th Annual Governor’s Occupational Safety and Health Awards Program of New Jersey. The Citation of Merit Certificate is awarded to a company, facility, or department for working throughout the calendar year without lost time from a work-related injury or illness.

The Annual Governor’s Occupational Safety and Health Awards Program has played an important role in promoting a safer and healthier workplace. It is open to all places of employment, public and private, regardless of size, and is sponsored by the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development and the New Jersey State Industrial Safety Committee. This year’s award program took place on April 17, 2018 at Nottingham Ballroom in Hamilton, NJ.
