SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Brandless, the ecommerce startup offering everyday essentials for $3, will unveil a physical manifestation of #BrandlessLife, hosting a Pop-Up with Purpose in Los Angeles from May 1 to May 13, 2018. The Pop-Up with Purpose marks the direct-to-consumer company’s first experiential space. Located in West Hollywood at 8483 Melrose Avenue, the 3,500 square foot venue will offer an immersion into #BrandlessLife, a new lifestyle platform centered on the brand’s belief that life is about living more and branding less.
The pop-up will be a real life embodiment of the #BrandlessLife community, available not only to the people of Los Angeles but in every city where the Brandless community lives, through live and online streamed content available nationally. In addition to interactive and Instagrammable moments, the experience will provide daily activities to live, learn, and love with intention, led by some of the most influential thought-leaders in wellness, food, entrepreneurship and social impact.
“When we launched Brandless, we wanted to create an authentic new kind of relationship between people and the companies built to serve them. We wanted to fix a broken system and show people that everyone deserves better, and that better doesn’t need to cost more,” said Tina Sharkey, Brandless Co-Founder and CEO. “The #BrandlessLife Pop-up with Purpose is an offline extension of our online mission, connecting and highlighting our community by putting a spotlight on them and sharing the ways we make each other kinder, healthier and more resilient. #BrandlessLife is about more than shopping, it’s about shining a light on ways to live more, and brand less.”
The #BrandlessLife Pop-up with Purpose will offer guests the chance to attend informative panels, workshops and movement sessions all centered around living with meaning, as well as opportunities to sample Brandless products and connect with other community members. The Brandless community lives throughout the U.S., so people across the country will be able to join the fun via live streaming through Facebook Live and on-demand access to events on the #BrandlessLife blog.
Brandless will continue its mission to donate meals to people in need in partnership with Feeding America throughout the event. Brandless will donate 10 meals on behalf of each person who buys a ticket for the pop-up during the two-week event, and another three meals every time a community member tags @brandlesslife and #brandlesslife on social media April 17-May 17, 2018. Further, Brandless is donating 5,000 meals in honor of every speaker at the event.
