Oracle Applications Users Group Presents Interactive, Personalized Training at COLLABORATE 18

ATLANTA--()--The Oracle Applications Users Group (OAUG), an independent, global, member-led organization that maximizes users’ investment in Oracle and partner solutions, co-hosts COLLABORATE 18: Technology and Applications Forum for the Oracle Community conference in partnership with the Independent Oracle Users Group (IOUG) and Quest International Users Group (Quest), April 22 – 26 at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas.

The full conference agenda includes more than 1,200 educational sessions developed by Oracle users for Oracle users to help attendees maximize on-premises solutions, evaluate a path to the cloud and optimize business in the cloud. Functional and technical education spans seven tracks: E-Business Suite; On-Prem EPM/Hyperion; Cloud EPM/Hyperion; Big Data, BI & Analytics; CX Cloud; ERP Cloud and SCM Cloud.

The COLLABORATE 18 – OAUG Forum also features sessions addressing trending topics such as cloud security, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and emerging technologies including blockchain, artificial intelligence and machine learning. The searchable online session scheduler allows visitors to browse topics and build a personalized learning agenda.

Oracle community members can participate in various networking opportunities to further their professional connections and exchange ideas at the Women in Technology panel discussion and luncheon, OAUG Special Interest Group (SIG) meetings and Oracle EPM/Hyperion/BI-specific education and networking events throughout the week. The OAUG’s Geographic (Geo) groups host a Network Community Service Build-A-Bike® team-building activity on Sunday to construct bicycles for under-privileged children in the Las Vegas area.

Oracle employees and executives are scheduled to present a number of education and Oracle Roadmap sessions, facilitate hands-on labs, participate in SIG meetings, provide demos in the exhibit hall and meet one-on-one with attendees throughout the week. Oracle’s Steve Daheb, senior vice president, Oracle Cloud, will present the keynote on Monday, April 23.

“The COLLABORATE 18 agenda reflects the realities of many Oracle customers who may be maintaining existing product environments while pursuing new technologies and solutions,” said Christine Hipp, president of the OAUG. “The mix of sessions and networking provides many opportunities for attendees to hear from experts and learn from other users to help them get the most out of their Oracle products.”
