Insight School of Minnesota Now Enrolling for the 2018-2019 School Year

Online Public School Serves Students Statewide in Grades 6-12

BROOKLYN CENTER, Minn.--()--Insight School of Minnesota (ISMN), a full- and part-time online public school, is now accepting enrollment applications for the 2018-2019 school year. A program of Brooklyn Center Independent School District #286, ISMN is open tuition-free to all students who reside in Minnesota.

ISMN combines online instruction and the support of experienced teachers to provide a personalized learning experience for students of every ability level at an appropriate pace for their learning style. Built on the understanding that many students may face unique challenges, ISMN provides struggling students with the academic, emotional, and social supports needed to succeed in high school and beyond.

ISMN aims to set our students up for long term success,” says Head of School John Huber. “Whether they’re going on to higher education or entering the workforce, we provide our students with an excellent education and the additional support services they may need.”

ISMN’s Family Academic Support Team (FAST) empowers students to overcome challenges in and outside of class. Staff members connect students with community-based resources, when necessary, for social and personal needs.

The online learning environment gives students the flexibility to spend more time with the subjects and lessons where they need additional support, and advance more quickly in areas where they excel. Dedicated teachers communicate regularly with families via email, phone and in one-to-one online meetings.

High school students can plan for the future with college workshops and career counseling. Students have the opportunity throughout the year to meet for in-person field trips and social gatherings, fostering a sense of school community beyond the virtual classroom.

Enrollment is now open for the 2018-2019 school year. Students and families are encouraged to attend an online or in-person information session hosted by the school. More information on ISMN, how to enroll, and a schedule of upcoming events can be found at mn.insightschools.net.
