ProLiteracy Announces Partnership with BenchPrep to Impact Adult Literacy

BenchPrep’s enterprise SaaS learner success platform to power ProLiteracy’s learning programs to increase user engagement and help close the adult literacy gap

CHICAGO--()--ProLiteracy, the largest adult literacy and basic education nonprofit organization in the nation, has partnered with BenchPrep, the comprehensive learner success platform that puts the learning experience first, to help increase adult literacy.

As the leader in promoting adult literacy through content development, programs, and advocacy for more than 60 years, ProLiteracy aims to meet the needs of adult learners. ProLiteracy will leverage BenchPrep’s enterprise SaaS learning platform to accelerate learning and improve the skills of the more than 36 million adults in the U.S. who are unable to read, write, or perform basic math.

“ProLiteracy, through its publishing division New Readers Press, has a rich history of developing innovative content that positively impacts adults seeking to increase their literacy skills, obtain their high school equivalency diplomas, or acquire workforce training,” said Kevin Morgan, President and CEO of ProLiteracy. “We are excited to offer our content on BenchPrep’s platform and believe it is the optimal tool to offer digital instruction to learners in support of our mission to alleviate the adult literacy crisis in the U.S.”

BenchPrep’s platform is designed to help education and training organizations improve and accelerate learner success by streamlining content management, educator tools, dashboards, reporting, and e-commerce into one comprehensive solution. Learners also get the flexibility to prepare at any time or anywhere, across all devices. By incorporating gamification, microlearning, and personalized learning programs in its learning platform, BenchPrep makes learning engaging, efficient, and effective.

“ProLiteracy and BenchPrep share a common mission to make it easier for millions of adults to earn high school diplomas so that they can successfully enter the workforce,” says Ashish Rangnekar, CEO of BenchPrep. “This partnership further establishes BenchPrep as the foremost expert in delivering content that increases learner engagement, and we’re thrilled to help ProLiteracy make a significant impact in connecting adult learners with the tools they need to revitalize their professional careers.”
