WALTHAM, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Mobile Heartbeat®, a leading provider of mobile healthcare enterprise solutions that improve clinical workflow and team communication, today announced that Lancaster General Hospital, a University of Pennsylvania Health System member, has implemented Mobile Heartbeat’s MH-CURE® secure smartphone application as its clinical communications and collaboration platform.
By adopting MH-CURE, Lancaster General Hospital plans to replace its SpectraLink and Ascom devices. Integrated with the hospital’s Epic ADT, Rauland-Borg nurse call and Avaya and Voice Gateway PBX systems currently, MH-CURE will also integrate lab, paging, vitals, camera module, directory and Oneview when fully deployed enterprise-wide. Lancaster General has launched the platform on shared MH-CURE-enabled smartphones and will allow for BYOD devices later this year. When fully deployed, there will be 1,350 concurrent MH-CURE users.
“Mobile Heartbeat is pleased to partner with Lancaster General Hospital and we look forward to helping them improve workflows and leverage their current technology investments,” said Ron Remy, CEO of Mobile Heartbeat. “Lancaster General Hospital joins a growing number of forward-looking hospitals that understand the value in adopting a mobile communications platform like MH-CURE to speed up access to information and enable greater collaboration and communication among care teams. The result is more time at the patient bedside and improved patient care.”
