ART Medical Is Selected For The Journal of mHealth’s 2017 Global Digital Health 100

The Journal of mHealth names ART Medical as one of the 100 most innovative companies in Healthtech for 2017

TEL AVIV, Israel--()--ART Medical (www.artmedical.com), an Israeli MedTech leader in the biotech space that detects and prevents life-threatening complications in Intensive Care Units (ICUs), was chosen to be among The Journal of mHealth’s 2017 Global Digital Health 100 companies.

The Annual Global Digital Health 100 recognizes companies for their innovation, advanced technology, and contribution in reshaping the healthcare industry. Selected companies are recognized for demonstrating the greatest potential to change the way that healthcare is delivered. This list has become the international benchmark of innovation in the healthcare technology industry.

ART Medical created the first smart sensor-based tubes platform to save lives in the ICU, and is the first company to transform traditional ICU practices with its advanced sensor-based tube solution, by allowing automated and real-time responses to reduce any intubation-related medical complications, before they arise. ART Medical optimizes the enteral feeding process as well as detects, and prevents aspiration pneumonia, VAP and Acute Kidney Injury, which are common, and dangerous complications for intubated patients in the ICU. The platform allows ICU caregivers to provide more personalized treatment for patients by leveraging untapped data that has not been yet collected or monitored.

“We’re honored to be recognized by The Journal of mHealth community for our innovation, and awarded alongside many other great companies that enhance patient care,” says Founder and CEO, Liron Elia. “ART Medical’s solution enables ICU patients to experience less complications during their hospital stay, that are unrelated to the original reason of hospitalization, and save more lives.”
