WHO: On Saturday, January 20, immediately following the Women’s March in New York City, VoteRunLead, the non-partisan non-profit training powerhouse for women seeking state and local office, is offering an afternoon of “Women Run 2018.” This event is in conjunction with the New York Women’s Foundation, the Ms. Foundation for Women and the Athena Center at Barnard College. VoteRunLead will host an exciting and informative post-march event that will help guide the passion from the march into making change in the community and beyond. Highlights of the afternoon will include empowering presentations by women running for office and a panel discussion entitled “Time’s Up: Ending Sexual Harassment & Assault.”
