CAMDEN, N.J.--()--In just over one year of operation and with backing from Campbell Soup Company (NYSE: CPB), The Soulfull Project has pledged to donate one million servings of their high-quality, nutrient-dense hot cereal to food banks over the next two years.

The Soulfull Project is a unique effort to help combat hunger in local communities - for every serving purchased, the company donates a serving of wholesome hot cereal to a food bank in that region. With new increased national availability, including Amazon, The Soulfull Project aims to increase their impact by helping to fight hunger from coast to coast. Guided by their buy one, give one business model, the company also recently achieved Certified B Corporation status by the nonprofit B Lab, meeting rigorous standards of social and environmental performance, accountability and transparency.

“Giving to others is the backbone of our business model,” said Chip Heim, Co-Founder of The Soulfull Project. “Our B Corporation certification means we are joining the ranks of more than 2,300 amazing, like-minded companies who also strive to use business as a force for good in the world. We’ve donated more than 100,000 servings thus far and, with the support of our consumers, will work hard to reach our goal of one million donations by 2019.”

All of The Soulfull Project’s hot cereal varieties are Non-GMO Project Verified, Whole Grain Stamp-approved and contain no artificial flavors or colors. The Soulfull Projects first giving partner, The Food Bank of South Jersey, helped create the 4 Grain Blend, a versatile hot cereal that consists of a mix of rye, oats, barley and toasted red quinoa, with no added sugar.

“We started this movement because we saw how families at all income levels struggled to make good food choices,” said Megan Shea, Co-Founder of The Soulfull Project. “We also recognized that many people want to help others in need, but often don’t know where to start. Our recent achievement of national availability of our products gives us the opportunity to provide our nutritious hot cereal to more communities in need.”

The Soulfull Project hot cereals are available nationally via Amazon and CIBO Gourmet Express Markets in airports across the country. The hot cereals are also available at Berkeley Bowl, Earth Fare, Jewel-Osco, and Wegmans, and will be hitting shelves at Central Market, Fred Meyer, Giant, Shaws, and Stop & Shop stores this month.

The Soulfull Project offers multi-grain hot cereal in individual cups, multi-serve re-sealable bags and multi-serve cartons of individual packets. The cups are available in four flavors: Cinnamon Spice, Blueberry Almond, Brown Sugar Pecan and Tart Cherry. The multi-serve re-sealable bags are available in 4 Grain Blend and Hearty Grains & Seeds varieties. The multi-serve cartons of individual packets come in an Irish Oatmeal, Cinnamon Spice and Hearty Grains & Seeds variety, all of which are gluten free.
