BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--SevOne, a leading provider of network and infrastructure management solutions, today announced that it has named Paul Ciesielski as Chief Revenue Officer. In this position, he will be responsible for the leadership of the global SevOne Sales Team.
Mr. Ciesielski is an accomplished sales leader with a track record of driving predictable revenue with enterprise companies. Paul has extensive infrastructure and application management experience, and he brings a great mix of inspiration, operational experience, and technical breadth. His most recent leadership role was at CHEF Software, where he helped the company drive and sustain double-digit growth in revenue and customer acquisition. Previously, he was AppDynamics, which was acquired by Cisco. He has also held roles as Vice President of Sales at Mazu, which was acquired by Riverbed Technology. While at Riverbed Technology, he ran sales for the company’s East and Central Cascade Unit. Paul was also at Mercury Interactive for over six years and helped drive the global growth of their Application Performance Management division.
Driving SevOne’s Global Footprint and Sales Revenue in EMEA & AsiaPac Regions
Supporting Paul Ciesielski’s role, SevOne also announced the appointments of Joe Ghattas as Vice President of Sales and Managing Director for the EMEA region and Danny Smolders as Vice President Sales & General Manager, Asia Pacific.
Based in London, Mr. Ghattas is responsible for achieving SevOne’s EMEA sales goals across its enterprise, communications services providers (CSPs) and managed services providers (MSPs) customer segments. He is also responsible for developing and managing all members of the Company’s EMEA team. He brings more than 20 years of experience with successful leadership of revenue teams at technology companies worldwide. Most recently he served as President of JMTP Enterprises, a Paris-based provider of sales and service consulting to start-ups and emerging companies seeking international growth. Prior to that, he was Vice President of Sales for Imperva, an NYSE-listed provider of cybersecurity software for enterprises. Earlier, he held senior international sales positions at CA Technology, one of the largest independent software corporations in the world, at OpTier, a leader in Application performance Management focusing on Business Analytics, and Knoa software, a developer of cloud-based analytics solutions.
Based in Singapore, Mr. Smolders holds similar responsibilities for sales goals and for managing all members of SevOne’s Sales team across the AsiaPac region. Most recently, Smolders was Vice President, APAC for ExtraHop, a leading machine learning and IT analytics provider, where he grew and managed a sales team of 14 and helped achieve record sales growth. Prior to ExtraHop, he held roles as APJ Sales Director for Riverbed Technology and Vice President, APAC for Ipanema Technologies.
