HERNDON, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--DLT Solutions, an award-winning technology provider to the public sector, today announced that it is part of a multiple award, five-year enterprise software initiative (ESI) blanket purchase agreement (BPA) with the Army Contracting Command – Rock Island, on behalf of U.S. Department of Defense (DoD), to help modernize and secure information management with Quest Software and services.
Modernization is a critical endeavor for agencies today. The Government Accountability Office estimates that 75 percent of the federal government’s more than $80 billion IT investment is spent on maintaining legacy systems—leaving agencies, such as the DoD, vulnerable.
“The DoD today is facing sophisticated cyber threats, a growing network of devices and users, and the need to modernize with challenging budgets,” said Brian Strosser, president, DLT Solutions. “By leveraging Quest Software, the DoD can better manage this complexity, keep track of user identities, and optimize the secure storage of data in the cloud and in hybrid environments.”
As part of the ESI BPA, DoD customers may purchase up to $40 million worth of Quest Software shared between DLT and the other ESI BPA holders. This award, which is operational until November 2022, adds to a portfolio of existing ESI BPAs held by DLT that are helping federal agencies streamline the procurement process for mission-critical software and services.
The ESI BPA includes commercial off-the-shelf Quest Enterprise Management Software products—inclusive of software licenses, media, and maintenance—to better support the DoD mission through information management; Microsoft platform management; identity and access management; endpoint systems management; data protection; and performance monitoring and support.
Further, this BPA is available to all U.S. federal agencies, authorized contracts and designated as a GSA SmartBUY BPA.
