The Challenger Agency Takes Home Top Prize at the Landy Awards for Extraordinary Search Marketing Efforts

EL SEGUNDO, Calif.--()--Wpromote, the nation’s largest independent digital marketing agency, was named Agency of the Year for SEM at Search Engine Land’s third annual Landy Awards. The awards recognize excellence in executing organic and paid search marketing initiatives, and are held in conjunction with the publication’s SMX East Conference in New York.

The agency’s work with Providence, the third-largest not-for-profit health system in the US, helped Wpromote rein in this top honor. Wpromote brought Providence to the forefront of paid search by restructuring 17 different accounts, which involved a series of complex technical optimizations completed by Wpromote's integrated team of specialists. As a result, Providence exceeded their annual goal cost-per-acquisition (CPA) figures within months, and lowered CPAs across the board from 50 percent to 91 percent.
