HERNDON, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Northwest Federal Credit Union marked its 70th anniversary by partnering with Northern Virginia Project GiveBack to provide Thanksgiving meals to 500 local families. The Credit Union donated $5,250, providing 70 meals in honor of their 70 years. Northwest Federal employees came together with members of the community to assemble and deliver meals in time for the holiday.

Northwest Federal’s culture of service inspired an all-year giving initiative to celebrate the Credit Union’s 70th Anniversary. The 70 Acts of We, which included the partnership with Project GiveBack, honored the Credit Union’s commitment to philanthropy.
