NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Latina Media Ventures, owners of Latina Magazine, is leading the new wave of Latinx storytelling with the launch of a revamped digital presence including Latina Story Lab, LatinaTV, and Latina on the road.
The new direction reflects Latina’s shift towards more real time content, community spotlighting, and supporting Latina storytellers in all forms. While still featuring popular fashion and beauty content for its fierce Latina readers, the magazine is amplifying its platform to also serve as a voice for the millions of Latinas demanding change on real issues with enhancements and extensions like the Latina Story Lab where they will source and nurture new storytellers in all forms from writing to videos and beyond. Inspired by the powerful impact of movements like the 2017 Women’s March and Latina Equal Pay, Latina is honored to lean in and champion their community.
“We were founded 21 years ago on the belief that you can’t be what you can’t see. It has been our purpose and privilege to spotlight thousands of Latinas who are breaking barriers and changing the game, and we are just getting started,” said Latina Co-President and Editorial Director, Robyn Moreno.
Latina will also hit the road in 2018, with a new LatiNXT event series to connect and host events to celebrate Latina achievement, inspire and uplift the community across all markets and industries.
And stay tuned for the new LatinaTV, featuring original programming that empowers and entertains. As Latina continues to promote inclusivity and diversity, its video and TV enhancements extend its digital reach and amplify its resounding message: Latina is so much more than a magazine or a media company; they are a mission to embolden and empower a new generation of Latina storytellers and leaders.
In celebration of Latina’s expansion, the magazine will launch its very first digital issue, with La La Anthony gracing Latina’s Winter cover.
Currently, on top of the world, La La has a slew of new TV and movie deals in the works and a denim collection that, with its size range of 0-24, shows curvy girls some love, have the actress, producer, author, and entrepreneur busier than ever. The issue features all things La La, including her addressing the rumors about her relationship with Carmelo Anthony, sharing what it’s like raising her 10-year-old son, Kiyan, in the spotlight and dishing on the projects that are fueling her passion.

GIFT GUIDE A round-up of 50+ perfect presents for everyone on your list: from budget-friendly buys to little luxuries, and everything in between.
LATINAS OF THE YEAR These Latinas rocked 2017 with passion, purpose, and poder. Whether it was strutting to the top of the Billboard charts, wading in post-natural disaster floods to save their fellow citizens, or rallying women on the ground to protest Trump’s election, these trailblazers were all about being seen and heard. Because they and Latina know that well behaved women rarely make history.
JOURNEY TO THE END OF THE EARTH With mineral-blue lakes and jagged glaciers piercing the sky, Torres del Paine National Park in Chile’s Patagonia immerses travelers in otherworldly natural beauty and wildlife—promising the trip of a lifetime.
