‘Talking Biz News’ Seeks Nominations for Business Journalist of the Year Award

CHAPEL HILL, N.C.--()--Every year ‘Talking Biz News,’ created and operated by University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill professor Chris Roush, selects a Business Journalist of the Year. Each Business Journalist of the Year recipient stands out in the world of business journalism and covers groundbreaking developments in the business field. Nominations for the Business Journalist of the Year can be submitted through Twitter beginning Thursday, Nov. 2, 2017.

Roush said: “I look for someone who has made an impact in business journalism, whether it is through outstanding reporting or through management of a business news operation in a way that is unique. I think it’s going to be hard to decide this year because there are so many good stories.”

The selection of the award recipient is based on a subjective review by Talking Biz News. Nominations are collected either through Twitter submissions or by polling people that work at business news media organizations.

Talking Biz News is a business journalism site founded and managed by Walter E. Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor Chris Roush.
