Biography
Abufaris is a respected and seasoned mortgage executive holding a Bachelor of Science Degree in Banking and Finance from the University of Florida, He has experience in origination of loans, new program development, underwriting as well as the sale of loans in the secondary market. He spent 10 years as Capital Markets Manager with MGIC (Mortgage Guaranty Insurance Company) and was employed by CitiMortgage, Inc. In January of 2011, Ed left CitiMortgage and accepted the position of Executive Vice President – Institutional Lending with AmeriSave. Currently residing in the metro Atlanta area, he has now accepted the position of SVP of TPO with Equity Prime Mortgage LLC.
