TORONTO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Street Contxt, a fintech company that helps brokerages, independent research providers and asset managers distribute, manage, unbundle and value research and commentary across asset classes, today announced that Aaron Booth has joined the company as Vice President of Sales and industry leaders Ray Tierney and Todd Albright have also joined as advisory board members for the firm.
Aaron Booth will lead Street Contxt’s customer acquisition and retention efforts and is responsible for overseeing the company’s rapidly growing sales team. Prior to joining Street Contxt, Mr. Booth spent eight years as Vice President of Sales and Customer Success at Firmex, a provider of cloud-based data room services. Earlier in his career, he spent five years at the Capital Solutions division of General Electric as both a Sales Executive and Structuring Manager. Mr. Booth has a BBA in Information Systems from UCB and an MBA in Finance from Dalhousie University.
Ray Tierney and Todd Albright each join Street Contxt’s advisory board with decades of experience leading global technology companies. Formerly, Mr. Tierney was Global Head of Bloomberg’s Trading Solutions group in New York, where he oversaw product innovation, sales and strategy in providing multi-asset order management solutions to buy side and sell side firms worldwide. He also served as CEO of Bloomberg Tradebook LLC from 2010 to 2014 and held various senior trading positions at Morgan Stanley over a period of 16 years. Mr. Tierney has been regularly recognized in Institutional Investor’s annual Trading Technology 40 innovator rankings.
Mr. Albright has held various global leadership roles and currently serves as Worldwide Chief Revenue Officer & Americas General Manager at Merrill Corporation, a global provider of SaaS services to the capital markets community. Prior to joining Merrill, he was Senior Vice President of Sales at FIS Global (formerly SunGard) and held various senior executive roles at ACTIV Financial, Synchronoss (formally IntraLinks), Yext and ACI worldwide.
