MONTVALE, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--IMA® (Institute of Management Accountants) announced today the launch of its 2018 “You’ve Got to Earn It” Video Contest. As accounting and finance professionals enter the age of artificial intelligence (AI) and automation in the workplace, IMA is challenging participants to answer, “In what ways does the CMA® (Certified Management Accountant) certification prepare you for the future and how does it ‘future-proof’ your career?”
The contest, open to all including students and young professionals, will accept short, creative video submissions (30 seconds to two minutes in length) through January 31, 2018. IMA’s panel of independent judges will review all submissions and select up to three finalists, which will be shared on IMA’s Facebook channel on February 19, 2018. These videos will then be featured on IMA’s Facebook page until February 26, 2018, when the number of likes for each video will determine the winner.
The first-place winner will receive $2,500 plus travel costs and registration fees for up to five team members to attend IMA’s Annual Conference & Expo in June 2018 in Indianapolis, as well as receive the Wiley CMAexcel CMA Review Course Scholarship (valued at $1,795). The second-place winner will receive $1,500 and up to five team members will receive the Wiley CMAexcel Online Intensive Review with CMA Test Bank Scholarship (valued at $470). The third-place winner will receive $1,000 and up to five team members will also receive the Wiley CMAexcel Online Intensive Review with CMA Test Bank Scholarship.
