SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Zenefits today proudly announces the appointment of Beth Steinberg as the company’s chief people officer, reporting to CEO Jay Fulcher. Steinberg brings deep expertise in culture development, talent strategy and leadership development to the Zenefits team, having held positions at BrightRoll and Facebook, and in her work helping dozens of companies through her people and talent advisory firm, Mensch Ventures. Beth’s hire comes at a key time as Zenefits builds out an impressive senior leadership team and continues its evolution as the leading HR software platform for small and medium-sized companies.

Beth has held leadership positions at some of the biggest companies in Silicon Valley including Facebook, BrightRoll (acquired by Yahoo), Sunrun, and Electronic Arts. She has also held positions at Nike, Hewlett-Packard and Nordstrom. Most recently, Beth’s advisory firm Mensch Ventures has helped dozens of companies enhance company culture to drive business results and scale. Beth is a member of the U.S. State Department’s TechWomen program and has spoken around the world on the issues of equal education and opportunity for women.
