Physicians Realty Trust Announces Ratings Upgrade to BBB- from Standard & Poor’s Ratings Services

MILWAUKEE--()--Physicians Realty Trust (NYSE: DOC) (the “Company,” the “Trust,” “we,”, “our” and “us”), a self-managed healthcare real estate investment trust, today announced that Standard & Poor’s Ratings Services (S&P) has raised the Company’s corporate credit rating to investment grade (BBB-) with a stable outlook. In its update, S&P noted that its upgrade reflected the Company’s “deleveraging efforts, increased scale, and improving asset quality,” as well as its expectation that the Company “will continue to rapidly grow its portfolio in a disciplined manner.”

Jeff Theiler, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the Trust, commented, “We are pleased that S&P has recognized the continued financial strength and stability of Physicians Realty Trust as we continue methodically building our portfolio to generate long-term shareholder value.”
