NASHVILLE, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Complex Rehab Technology Solutions (CRT) provider, National Seating & Mobility (NSM), has acquired the mobility division of Wright & Filippis. The acquisition positions NSM as the leading provider of CRT solutions in Michigan.
“NSM is proud to partner with companies that share our values,” said Bill Mixon, NSM CEO. “Wright & Filippis is one of the country’s most respected providers of prosthetics, orthotics, custom mobility products and accessibility solutions. This acquisition allows both companies to focus on our areas of expertise to better serve those distinguished clients in Michigan.”
NSM will be assuming Wright & Filippis CRT operations in Metro Detroit and Lansing, Michigan and their mobility division in Flint will merge within an existing NSM operation in Freeland, Michigan. NSM also currently operates a branch in Troy. Eighteen Wright & Filippis employees, including seven ATPs, will transition to these NSM branches.
“We will work closely with Wright & Filippis to ensure a smooth shift in servicing their existing mobility clients and look forward to building on this statewide partnership to continue to grow our reach to those with mobility needs,” said Mixon.
Wright & Filippis has been Michigan’s leading provider of prosthetics, orthotics and DME services for 73 years, offering CRT services for the last 37 years.
“As we reviewed options for our mobility business, there were two key factors we considered; who would provide the best service to our patients and who would provide our staff continued opportunities for growth and advancement. It was determined after researching the market our best fit would be with NSM because they align closely with our culture of patient care and will provide stability for our ATP’s,” said AJ Filippis, CEO of Wright & Filippis.
