Benu Networks Selected As Finalist for 2017 Mass Technology Leadership Council Award

BILLERICA, Mass.--()--Benu Networks, a leading provider of innovative virtual network solutions that enable service providers to rapidly create and deliver next generation IP services, today announced it has been chosen as a finalist by the Mass Technology Leadership Council (MassTLC) for the 2017 “Innovative Technology of the Year - Internet of Things” award.

The Massachusetts Technology Leadership Awards draws attention to the deep pool of talent, innovative spirit and determination that thrives in the Bay State. Finalists were selected from hundreds of nominations, as judged by panels of industry leaders in each of the 14 categories. The pool of finalists will be further narrowed during the coming weeks. Winners will be announced at the 20th annual MassTLC Leadership Awards Gala on September 14 at Boston's Seaport World Trade Center.

Benu Networks’ Virtual Service Edge (VSE) platform allows service providers to create different network service slices on the same platform to achieve optimal network economics, and to create additional revenue opportunities by rapidly enabling the delivery of differentiated, cloud-managed service offerings for Mobile Wi-Fi, Managed Business Networking and Managed Home Networking services. The VSE platform enables service providers’ networks to support critical IoT device onboarding, intelligence, control and security that is required to monetize and protect subscribers’ devices across all networks. By enabling the ability to apply device-level policies, the VSE quickly addresses the lack of inherent security features within IoT devices and dramatically reduces security threats. The VSE provides complete visibility with traffic analytics of all devices which enables an operator to know all devices on the network, track changing network behavior, and then easily create and apply security policies, such as limiting a device’s access, connectivity and even bandwidth consumption.

“Benu Networks is honored to be named as an award finalist by the Mass Technology Leadership Council,” said Mads Lillelund, CEO, Benu Networks. “The Virtual Service Edge platform is a trusted carrier-grade solution that’s addressing the unique challenges and concerns inherent to an IoT environment.”
