SANTA CLARA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Netronome, a leader in high performance intelligent networking solutions, today announced that Dr. Nils Rix has joined the company as senior vice president of sales. Dr. Rix is a global executive with in-depth sales and technology experience in the networking and communications industries at multiple successful first-tier technology and service providers. He brings with him unique experience in building, delivering as well as deploying differentiated products and services in the mobile and fixed Internet, and communications and media domains.

Before joining Netronome, Dr. Rix was vice president of sales and technical sales, as well as Market Area CTO with Alcatel-Lucent EMEA. He previously held executive positions at Bharti Airtel Ltd. and Ericsson AB. He studied economics and applied physics at Christian-Albrechts-University in Kiel and the University of Washington in Seattle and holds a Ph.D. from Christian-Albrechts-University.
