As Strategic Advisor to Avetta, Cecich will serve as a key voice regarding future growth opportunities and the continued development of unique, global solutions to help organizations drive sustainable growth.

With more than 40 years of experience in EHS, including serving as the 102nd President of the American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE)—the world’s oldest professional safety organization with over 37,000 global members—Cecich is widely recognized for his efforts to advance awareness around worker fatalities, serious injuries, and high-risk worker health exposures. He truly understands how these incidents not only affect workers and their families but have significant material impacts on business performance as well.
Previously, Cecich has served as Vice President of EHS Global Business Support at the pharmaceutical company GlaxoSmithKline. There, he had EHS responsibility for 100 global manufacturing sites. He has also held safety management positions at IBM and Allied Chemical Corporations.
