MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Avtex, a full-service Customer Experience consultancy, announced today its participation in Microsoft’s Cloud Solutions Provider (CSP) program for Azure Government services. The CSP program enables partners to make Microsoft Cloud services part of their customer offerings, expanding U.S. government customer options in meeting their mission goals.
With the CSP program, partners can now create high-value service offerings that combine use of Azure Government with solution management, customer support, and billing to U.S. government customers. The security, privacy, compliance and transparency of the Azure Government platform give U.S. government partners the right foundation for meeting regulatory requirements while delivering innovation to the U.S. public sector.
This new program allows Avtex to sell and support hosted Azure services to our public-sector customers with datacenters that meet or exceed the complex and critical requirements for US Federal, Department of Defense, state, and local governments. Azure Government will address government regulatory and compliance requirements such as FedRAMP, CJIS, ITAR, DoD Impact Levels 1-5 and HIPAA. This secure cloud is required for many government agencies to host with providers like Avtex.
Avtex and Microsoft stand to benefit from the ongoing partnership, and the addition of Azure Government services to the CSP program.
“Leveraging the CSP program, Avtex provides a full-service offering including licensing, Managed Services support and billing for an end-to-end solution for public sector entities,” said Eric Van Heel, Avtex Vice President of Cloud Solutions Support. “Our partnership with Microsoft enables us to seize opportunities within the public sector by providing our services on Microsoft’s infrastructure.”
“As a cloud first Microsoft partner, we have been utilizing Azure as our technology platform for years. Avtex was part of the pilot for Azure Government services, and the first to actually utilize this new capability,” said Todd Johnson, Chief Operating Officer at Avtex. “We are truly excited to now be able to bring the power of Azure to our public sector customers while meeting or exceeding all of their security, regulatory and compliance needs.”
“With the CSP program, partners can now create high-value service offerings that combine use of Azure Government with solution management, customer support, and billing to U.S. government customers,” said Tom Keene, General Manager, Microsoft Azure. “The security, privacy, compliance and transparency of the Azure Government platform give U.S. government partners the right foundation for meeting regulatory requirements while delivering innovation to the U.S. public sector.”
