LifeSite Acquires Mustbin Mobile App

Award-winning digital vault company acquires assets of mobile app company Mustbin

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif.--()--LifeSite™ announced today that they have closed an asset purchase agreement with Boston-based mobile app company, Mustbin.

The award-winning digital vault company, LifeSite, has signed a deal to acquire Mustbin’s technology assets and upgrade Mustbin users to LifeSite Vault, delivering on the company’s vision to help people securely organize and share key information and documents.

LifeSite Vault provides enhanced functionality across multiple platforms (on desktop, mobile and Amazon Echo) for Mustbin users, including: dozens of categories and data fields for improved organization, permission-based sharing, reminders and an integrated “point and shoot” mobile scanner. Users will also enjoy industry-leading security including end-to-end layered encryption, multiple factors of authentication, and a world-class “lights out” data center.

During the transition period, the Mustbin service will continue to be available. Once migration has been completed, Mustbin will be retired as a standalone mobile app.

The inaugural LifeSite Vault was introduced in November 2015, followed by its companion mobile app with integrated categorization, collaboration and “point and shoot” document scanning functionality. LifeSite Pro, the enterprise solution which made its debut in October 2016, helps financial advisors increase client engagement while providing secure collaboration for families, and has been praised as a “top technology for small business” thanks to its documentation capabilities and engagement analytics.
