LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Allen Matkins, a California-based full service real estate and business law firm, announced today the addition of real estate partner O'Malley M. Miller to its Los Angeles office. O'Malley joins the firm's renowned Real Estate Department where he advises institutional investors, developers and lenders on matters related to real estate finance, acquisitions and sales, land use and CEQA issues, development and operating agreements, workouts, and other sophisticated real estate transactions. Additionally, he represents business enterprises and institutions which are not in the real estate business per se, but which must deal with their real property assets.

O'Malley started his career at Allen Matkins as only the eighth attorney to join the firm, but most recently he was a partner and head of the real estate practice at Munger Tolles & Olson LLP. There he represented institutional clients such as Oaktree Capital Management, Hines Interests and Tishman Speyer, who are also valued clients of Allen Matkins. He also handled significant civic projects including the Walt Disney Concert Hall and the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Los Angeles in connection with the development of the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels.
