PALO ALTO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Kyndi, the pioneering artificial intelligence company, today announced that Amy Guarino has joined the company as the Chief Operating Officer. Guarino reports directly to Kyndi CEO Ryan Welsh and has global responsibility for all go-to-market activities as well as the operations of the company.
Amy Guarino brings more than 25 years of sales, business development and marketing leadership to her new role as Kyndi COO. Most recently, Guarino was the Vice President Customer Sales at Marketo. An early Marketo employee, Guarino was hired as the VP of Business Development where she built the partner ecosystem as a part of the revenue growth engine for the company. In addition, she was an executive with Marketo KK (Japan) initiating the highly successful launch of the company as a joint venture between Marketo Inc., Dentsu eMarketing One Inc. and Sunbridge Corporation. During her tenure, Marketo grew from less than $1M in revenue to over $250M in revenue, went public in 2013 and was acquired by Vista Private Equity in 2016 for $1.8B.

Guarino’s other industry experience includes sales and marketing leadership roles at Right90, Latitude Communications, iPass, SGI and IBM. She graduated from the University of Notre Dame. She acts as an advisor to Akoonu, Inc, User Testing, Inc. and Survata, Inc., and serves on several non-profit boards, including Elizabeth House, a home for women and children transitioning from homelessness, violence or addiction, and the Notre Dame California Advisory Board. A frequent speaker at industry events on leadership, B2B sales and marketing and technology, she has been recognized as one of the “2009 Silicon Valley Women of Influence” by the Silicon Valley Business Journal, and honored as one of the “Top Women of the Channel” by Everything Channel’s CRN Magazine in 2010.
