DENVER--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Clough Capital Partners L.P. (“Clough Capital”), in conjunction with the Clough Global Closed End Funds, announced today that due to a significant medical condition, James E. Canty is stepping down as a portfolio manager and as an Interested Trustee of each of the Clough Global Closed-End Funds, effective immediately. Charles Clough and Robert Zdunczyk will remain as portfolio managers for each of the Clough Global Closed-End Funds. Additionally, Kevin McNally was elected an Interested Trustee of each of the Clough Global Closed-End Funds effective as of April 24, 2017.
Kevin McNally joined Clough Capital in 2014 as the Portfolio Manager for the Clough Finn Investment Partners fund, which launched in November 2014. Kevin has 24 years of experience focusing almost exclusively on closed-end funds (CEFs) and exchange-traded funds (ETFs). Prior to joining the firm, Kevin was the Director of Closed-End Funds at ALPS Fund Services where he was instrumental in launching approximately $13 billion in total assets of CEFs. Prior to that, Kevin was Director of CEF and ETF Research at Smith Barney, Director of CEF and ETF Marketing at Morgan Stanley, worked in Mutual Fund research at Merrill Lynch specializing in CEFs, and Manager of the CEF Marketing Department at Prudential Securities. He holds a B.A. from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and an MBA in Finance from NYU Stern School of Business.
