SUMMERVILLE, S.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Fatsack Outdoors, Inc., located in Greenville, South Carolina, has partnered with the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources (SCDNR) to create a unique mobile application for their Recreational Tagging Program.
The company’s mobile application allows anglers to log, map, share socially and analyze their fishing adventures. The new partnership with SCDNR will expand user functionality and develop new features for the tagging program.
“Our application will allow SCDNR to operate and expand the currently antiquated recreational tagging program with less time and resources while minimizing the risk of erroneous data,” said Nick Rubio, CEO of Fatsack Outdoors.
“The partnership between a South Carolina startup and South Carolina Government, to bring an innovative mobile application to the public, is exciting,” said Bob Quinn, SCRA Executive Director. “We hope this new application and partnership will be used as a model for other states.”
Fatsack Outdoors, Inc. recently received a Project Development Grant from SCRA’s SC Launch Program which will be used to further the development of the application. The SC Launch Program is SCRA's entrepreneurial platform that provides mentoring, grants and investments to qualified, South Carolina companies in the Advanced Materials/Manufacturing, Information Technology and Life Sciences industries.
