Sullivan Acquires Award-Winning Digital Design Studio FOUR32C

Acquisition fortifies the firm’s digital offerings and expands expertise across categories

NEW YORK--()--Sullivan, a brand engagement firm, today announced the acquisition of award-winning, independent digital design studio FOUR32C, significantly strengthening Sullivan’s digital expertise and expanding into new verticals. As part of the acquisition, FOUR32C’s portfolio of clients will be added to Sullivan’s client roster and FOUR32C’s staff will be integrated into Sullivan. Design veterans and Condé Nast Digital alumni Mark Jarecke and Mike Lee, Founders of FOUR32C, will join the Sullivan senior team, along with Elizabeth Stafford, Geoff Cardillo, and others.

“Sullivan has always helped organizations connect with their audiences at the points where the brand touches the customer. In an increasingly digital-first world, consumers are often turning to these channels first and determining whether or not to engage with a brand based on those interactions,” said Barbara Apple Sullivan, Founder and Managing Partner, Sullivan. “Mark and the FOUR32C team share our philosophy of the importance of building brand loyalty by demonstrating it throughout the customer experience online, offline, and through the frontline. With the talent and experience FOUR32C brings, Sullivan is able to create even more seamless, customer-centric approaches to the digital brand experience.”

Sullivan has extensive expertise across financial services, professional services, technology, industrials, and higher education, with industry leading clients including TD Ameritrade, Crown Castle, ADP, Thomson Reuters, Cornell Tech and the School of American Ballet. With the acquisition of FOUR32C, the firm bolsters its already strong experience in the media & entertainment, nonprofit, and healthcare verticals while gaining additional experience in lifestyle categories including fashion, health & beauty, and cultural institutions. FOUR32C brings deep understanding of digital experience and product design on behalf of clients such as Vera Wang, Mic.com, and Weight Watchers, strengthening Sullivan’s acumen and service set.

“Brand doesn’t exist in a vacuum. Consumers interact with brands in the context of something bigger - a platform, a channel, or a product, which makes building digital interactions interdependent and nuanced,” said Mark Jarecke, Founder and Creative Director, FOUR32C. “Over the last 8 years, we’ve been on the frontlines of helping organizations connect digitally with consumers, and each time we started a new project we asked ourselves how we could create an experience that was true to the brand. By joining forces with Sullivan, we’re able to help clients define brand strategy and experience, and execute against it to create cohesive and innovative interactions across channels.”
