Papa John’s International Opens 100th Restaurant in Mexico

LOUISVILLE, Ky.--()--Papa John’s International, Inc. (NASDAQ: PZZA), announced the opening of its 100th restaurant in Mexico. This milestone is especially meaningful to the BETTER INGREDIENTS. BETTER PIZZA. brand because Mexico is where the world’s third largest pizza delivery company’s first International store opened in 1998. The 100th Papa John’s is located in Zona Azul in Ciudad Satélite in the Metropolitan area of Mexico City.

Orquest Foods, who has roots in Mexico that date back to 1936 and has been in the food business for the past ten years, is the franchisee of the 100th restaurant. Last year, Papa John’s and Orquest announced they had signed a development agreement to build 60 restaurants over the next eight years. The plan is to open 7 more stores with Orquest Foods this year.
