MIAMI--(BUSINESS WIRE)--TotalBank, a leading, full-service community bank serving the Miami market, today announced its relationship with Romero Britto, the international artist known for using vibrant patterns to create a visual language of happiness that The New York Times says, "exudes warmth, optimism and love.”
Recognizing the unique financial needs of the arts community, TotalBank assembled a suite of commercial and personal banking services to support Britto’s current endeavors as well as the growth of his enterprise. Leveraging a multi-faceted solution across all TotalBank operations, including treasury management, merchant services, personal and business banking, lending, and other services, a team of TotalBank client service professionals were able to ensure that the artist’s financial services were adapted to his unique income stream and growth plans.
According to TotalBank President Jay Pelham, “The banking solution delivered for Romero is a clear demonstration of the fact that a locally managed community bank, with decision makers who live in and understand the market, can be more flexible and innovative than other types of financial institutions.”
“After years of banking in an environment which did not provide the flexibility I needed to expand my growing business, I realized I needed a financial partner who would provide the level of service and innovation which every business needs. So, I made the strategic decision to partner with TotalBank because their team took the extra time to really understand my business and develop a specialized structure that worked for me,” said celebrity pop artist Romero Britto.
Pelham added, “For TotalBank, our work is about more than the numbers – it’s about supporting those people and companies who make Miami extraordinary. In many cases, this involves taking the time to really understand the hopes and dreams of creative business people, whether they be artists, entrepreneurs, small business owners, developers, or private-practice medical professionals. They all have banking needs that are unique and warrant a high-level of client service and support.”
As independent business owners look for banking products outside the “traditional box” offered by national banks, community banks are increasingly offering more individualized packages to people with non-traditional employment and cash flow. Community banks currently provide over half of all small business loans, despite accounting for less than a quarter of all business lending.
