HARTFORD, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Travelers Institute, the public policy division of The Travelers Companies, Inc. (NYSE: TRV), today will bring its national Cyber: Prepare, Prevent, Mitigate, Restore℠ educational series to Hartford, Connecticut, to help small and midsize business leaders learn how to prepare for and respond to cyber threats. The Connecticut Business & Industry Association, reSET and the Janet & Mark L. Goldenson Center for Actuarial Research at the University of Connecticut will join the Travelers Institute in hosting the event at the UConn Graduate Business Learning Center.
Arthur House, Chief Cybersecurity Risk Officer for the State of Connecticut, will give the keynote address, “A Cybersecurity Strategy for Connecticut: Prevention and Recovery.”
“The more sophisticated a state’s economy, the greater the need for effective cybersecurity at the state, regional and national levels,” said House. “We are receiving excellent cooperation throughout the state as we craft Connecticut’s cybersecurity strategy.”
The Cyber: Prepare, Prevent, Mitigate, Restore series convenes public- and private-sector industry leaders around the country to discuss current cyber risks and solutions to protect businesses.
