RALEIGH, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Phononic, the company revolutionizing cooling and heating with solid-state technology, today announced it is has expanded its global footprint within the Asia Pacific region with the opening of a sales office in Taiwan, the hiring of an Asia Pacific Regional manager and a strategic partnership with Photonteck Company Limited.
Recognizing market demand for high-performance electronics and fiber optic cooling, Phononic has opened an office in Taiwan to further establish the company’s presence in the Asia-Pacific region while supporting existing customers and future growth opportunities. Phononic has hired seasoned semiconductor sales executive, Gene Lin, to serve as Country Manager for Taiwan and the APAC region. Gene brings over 20 years of proven success selling innovative semiconductor solutions and a keen understanding of the APAC market to the company.

Recognizing an opportunity to expand its presence throughout mainland China, Phononic has established a strategic partnership with Photonteck Company Limited, a professional distributor and manufacturer’s representative company dedicated to the fields of fiber-optical communication, industrial laser and optics, semiconductors in China. Photonteck has extensive sales and application engineering resources in China who are engaging customer on behalf of Phononic, creating new opportunities while driving growth in revenue and market share. Through the partnership, Phononic gains an established and credible partner to help grow its Optical Systems business in mainland China.
