NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--NFP, a leading insurance broker and consultant that provides employee benefits, property & casualty, retirement and individual private client solutions, announced the enhancement of its leadership team with the promotion of Bill Austin to President of the Northeast Region.
In his new role, Austin will be responsible for overseeing benefits and property & casualty and promoting these capabilities throughout the rapidly growing market. Austin will lead a team to drive integrated selling and ensure strong operational efficiencies, while fostering an environment that encourages coordination across NFP’s business lines.
During his five-year tenure with NFP, Austin successfully led the financial, operational and strategic performance of the region’s employee benefits, retirement and HR services consulting businesses. Prior to this role, he co-founded AGS Benefits Group and Alterity Group, which were both acquired by NFP in 2012.
