CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Effective January 1, 2017, Neil Hughes, current president of HUB International Midwest, a division of HUB International Limited, a leading global insurance brokerage, risk advisory and employee benefits firm, will assume the role as president of HUB International’s US North Region, covering the Midwest, Colorado and Mountain States divisions. Lerone Sidberry, current president of Employee Benefits for the North and Central regions of HUB, will succeed Hughes as president of the Midwest division.
Hughes’ new role includes setting the overarching client support and sales strategy for the North region. Hughes, 41, has been with HUB for over 18 years, and has a proven track record of strong leadership and advancing company initiatives. During his six-year tenure as president of the HUB Midwest division, business has quadrupled and the company has sustained its positive workplace culture.
With over 25 years in the insurance industry, Lerone Sidberry, 47, is well prepared to resume Hughes’ responsibilities, which include leading the executive team and driving continued growth in all lines of business: Property & Casualty, Employee Benefits, Surety, Programs and Personal Lines. Employee benefits business has tripled under Sidberry’s leadership over the past 2.5 years, and the overall value proposition has never been stronger.

Michael Booth, 39, currently HUB Midwest’s executive vice president of employee benefits, has been promoted to Chief Sales Officer. While in his current role, Booth has brought the largest organic sales results to HUB Midwest to date. In his new role as CSO, he will continue to oversee all producers, as well as operations of ihouse, HUB’s HRIS consulting practice, and HUB Philanthropic Solutions.

Seth Hopkins, 42, previously vice president and Midwest regional marketing manager for a large international insurance company, will move into the role of HUB Midwest’s Chief Marketing Officer and Property & Casualty Practice Leader. Hopkins will manage all market and trading partner relationships, as well as service and operations for the Property & Casualty group.
