Affirm Extends E-Commerce Lending Solution with Support for Four Additional Platforms

Affirm Now Available for Retailers using Kibo Commerce, BigCommerce, AspDotNetStorefront and Zen-Cart

SAN FRANCISCO--()--Affirm, Inc., the company started by PayPal co-founder Max Levchin to give consumers honest financial products, today announced support for four additional e-commerce platforms: Kibo Commerce, BigCommerce, AspDotNetStorefront and Zen-Cart. Retailers that utilize any of these e-commerce platforms are now able to offer consumers the ability to purchase goods and services online, and break up payments over multiple months. Affirm already has native support for Salesforce Commerce Cloud (formerly Demandware), Magento 1.x and 2.0 and both Shopify and Shopify Plus.

“We now partner with over 850 retail clients, and we’re seeing increased demand from retailers across the commerce ecosystem,” said Levchin. “With this new set of e-commerce platform partners in place, Affirm is able to accommodate hundreds of additional retail partners looking to make their products more accessible and affordable to shoppers. We look forward to continued support and expansion throughout 2017 and beyond.”

Affirm lets shoppers pay for purchases over time with transparent, simple-interest loans, as opposed to traditional credit products that can charge compounding interest and fees, or come with promotional offers that transition into higher rates and fees.

For merchants, there is little risk in offering Affirm financing to their shoppers because Affirm pays merchants in full at the time of settlement. For some merchants, Affirm has proven to lift conversion rates as much as 25% and increase average order values by more than 80%.

“IntuitSolutions has been a partner of BigCommerce for 5 years. Recently, our clients have been asking us to integrate their BigCommerce stores with Affirm,” said Brian Antczak, co-founder of IntuitSolutions. “We built a seamless checkout app. We’ve already brought 4 new clients live and have several more ready to go in time for the holidays.”

Affirm worked with leading consulting partners on the integrations for each e-commerce platform, as follows:
