(NYSE: MATX), a leading U.S. carrier in the Pacific, is all-in on the AWS Cloud. Matson, whose shipping network reaches Hawaii, Alaska, Guam, China, and areas of the South Pacific, has closed all four of its on-premises data centers in its migration to AWS. Moving its applications from its on-premises data centers to the AWS Cloud has helped Matson achieve faster performance, increased reliability and security, and IT infrastructure cost savings.
