CLEVELAND--()--HGTV HOME by Sherwin-Williams, a leading paint brand from the design experts at HGTV® and the paint company pros trust, is proud to unveil its first Color Collection of the Year, available exclusively at Lowe’s. As with the brand’s sixteen designer-inspired Color Collections, each featuring twenty coordinating colors, the 2017 Color Collection of the Year inspires individuals to mix-and-match their color choices to create a harmonious, cohesive look. Whether painting one room or the whole house, HGTV HOME by Sherwin-Williams gives homeowners the confidence to select colors that pair well together no matter what.

Inspired by colors that occur organically, the twenty colors featured in the Natural Wonder Color Collection and its eight trending hues are a palette of earthy neutrals that bring the outdoors in. They merge rich minerals with mossy greens and earthy, wooden pigments. The hues of this color story, when brought into a light-filled space such as the family room, create an oasis that is as calming as it is beautiful. This palette is perfect for creating an eco-chic look that pairs well with repurposed glassware, salvaged or rustic wood items, and natural woven textiles and floor coverings.

“Our 2017 color forecast for HGTV HOME by Sherwin-Williams takes a deeper dive into the way we see and experience nature and how it impacts our daily lives,” said Carolyn Noble, ASID, Color and Design Manager for HGTV HOME by Sherwin-Williams. “In this era, design matters. The inspired colors of the Color Collection of the Year explore an ever-evolving relationship with nature as we find ourselves rooted into a slower lifestyle at home, our primary haven, and a desire to incorporate those natural details in our lives. For us, the amplified neutrals perfectly illustrate this key theme while the palette gives a sense of balance and harmony.”

The eight paint colors that articulate this trend include Less Brown (HGSW3432), Extra White (HGSW4005), Rare Gray (HGSW3275), Privilege Green (HGSW3253), Software (HGSW1463), Ivoire (HGSW2177), Useful Gray (HGSW3497) and Hopsack (HGSW3143).
