NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Americord, the fastest growing cord blood bank in the country, and a leader in the advancement of umbilical cord blood, cord tissue, and placenta tissue banking has announced that Andrew Horne has joined the company as in-house interim General Counsel.
Mr. Horne brings over 15 years of relevant experience to Americord, having represented companies in an array of fields including technology, pharmaceutical, biotech, insurance, telecommunications, defense and entertainment. Prior to joining Americord, he was a litigation partner at Kirkland & Ellis LLP and taught international private law and tort law at the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, Scotland.

L.P.) and University of Strathclyde (LL.B.). He is a former Associate Fellow at the Society for Advanced Legal Studies and was a John F. Kennedy Memorial Scholar at Harvard Law School.
