NYSE:GBL) announced today that Katrina O’Leary will join GAMCO’s institutional team as Vice President, Head of Consultant Relations. Ms. O’Leary will launch a dedicated effort to develop the firm’s relationships with the global consulting community. The role underscores GAMCO’s commitment to delivering superior risk adjusted returns and providing best in class client service in a rapidly changing investment environment.
GAMCO, a leading global active investment manager with over 200 institutional relationships, has a long history of providing detailed analysis to dozens of institutional consultants. This move bolsters its efforts to provide transparency and insights as the firm deepens its portfolio management capabilities.

Ms. O’Leary has over sixteen years of experience in the investment business, starting in 2000 with New York Life Investment Management. Most recently, she was Vice President, Consultant and Client Relations for River Road Asset Management (an affiliate of Affiliated Managers Group). Prior to River Road, she was with Cincinnati-based Opus Capital Management.
A native of Kentucky, Ms. O’Leary earned her B.S. in Finance & Marketing from the University of Kentucky.
