Joy Behar Brings Comedy to SugarHouse Casino

PHILADELPHIA--()--One of the most popular women in television, Joy Behar, will bring her comedy to The Event Center at SugarHouse Casino this December. Co-host of ABC’s Emmy® Award-winning show, “The View,” Behar will perform Saturday, Dec. 10 at 9 p.m. Tickets for the show go on sale Friday, Oct. 7 for $59.

Behar is an original co-host, appearing for the first 16 seasons before returning to the panel in September 2015. Along with the 2009 Daytime Emmy® Award for Outstanding Talk Show Host, she is also the recipient of three Manhattan Association of Cabarets & Clubs (MAC) awards, a CableAce award and a 2000 Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) award for her outstanding friendship to the LGBT community.

Behar has also had success on both stage and screen. Her film appearances include starring opposite Peter Falk in “Cookie,” and a major role in Woody Allen’s “Manhattan Murder Mystery.” She also appears in Allen’s current Amazon series “Crisis in Six Scenes.” In theater, Behar performed in Nicky Silver’s play “The Food Chain,” for which she earned rave reviews; Behar also acted in the critically acclaimed play “The Vagina Monologues.” In 2014, she wrote and performed in her own solo show, “Me, My, Mouth and I” at the Cherry Lane Theatre in NYC.
