SANTA CLARA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aviatrix Systems, a pioneer in Enterprise Cloud-defined Networking, announced today at the Microsoft Ignite event that Hyatt Hotels, one of the largest global hospitality chains, is using Aviatrix cloud native software with the Microsoft Azure cloud platform to implement its global expansion plan.
Hyatt is a globally recognized hospitality company, with more than 660 properties in over 50 countries. The company is a thought leader in leveraging technology to deliver better user experience. Utilizing Aviatrix cloud networking technology with Azure, Hyatt was able to move applications closer to users to deliver a vastly superior experience without adding new datacenters or hardware while preserving their existing IT investments.
During his presentation at the Microsoft Ignite event this week, Art Chernobrov, Manager Identity Access and Messaging, said “Aviatrix radically simplified cloud networking and made Microsoft Azure more easily consumable. The combination of Aviatrix and Azure cloud services has enabled Hyatt’s rapid global expansion plans, vastly improved user experience, and significantly reduced our costs.”
With Aviatrix Enterprise Cloud-defined Networking software and Azure, Hyatt was able to:
- Improve user experience and staff productivity by deploying ERP applications closer to users, reducing latency by 98 percent and lowering authentication times by 90 percent.
- Lower costs by not having to deploy any new hardware or new datacenters, having a smaller IT footprint in hotels, and reducing associated support overhead.
- Leverage the Aviatrix solution to scale connectivity from numerous hotels to a single Azure region.
- Centralize management and have increased visibility into the cloud network with the capabilities of the Aviatrix solution and its deep integration with the Azure stack.
Aviatrix provides a comprehensive software solution for all types of secure cloud connectivity: between public cloud regions, between different cloud providers (Microsoft Azure, AWS and Google Cloud), between enterprise datacenter and public cloud (hybrid cloud), and VPN user access to clouds.
“Aviatrix was founded with a vision to make cloud networking as dynamic and elastic as compute and storage. We are proud to team with Microsoft Azure and meet Hyatt’s requirements of being able to deliver a superior user experience with reduced latency, and enabling the agility that they expected from the cloud,” said Sherry Wei, Founder and CTO, Aviatrix.
“We are excited that Hyatt was able to leverage the global footprint of Microsoft Azure’s enterprise-proven cloud services, together with tightly-integrated cloud networking solutions from Aviatrix, to deliver a vastly improved user experience for their customers and to improve staff productivity,” said Yousef Khalidi, corporate vice president, Microsoft Corp.
